About Me.

My path into instructional design was a natural evolution of my work, born out of a genuine desire to solve problems and help people. When I noticed training gaps at my workplace, I couldn't help but step in to create training sessions, video tutorials, and job aids that made a real difference in staff workflows. What started as functional problem-solving quickly became something I genuinely loved doing. Over time, that focus deepened into a strong commitment to accessibility, ensuring that learning experiences are not just effective but truly usable and inclusive for everyone.

I have always enjoyed puzzles and problem solving, and I am the "go to" on staff for planning, editing, and proofreading. I solve problems that others might not notice exist until after rollout. I love connecting with diverse learners and streamlining learning processes for greater impact. I adapt quickly to new tools and am usually the first on staff to adopt and train others.

A turning point in my career aspirations came when a colleague told me after I facilitated a new website rollout and trained staff, “This was great. Can you just do this full time?” That moment was a huge affirmation and encouraged me to expand my reach, bringing my passion for accessible, human-centric design to clients outside my primary role. I approach every project with a growth mindset, eager to tackle new challenges and find innovative solutions.
